RICHLAND, Wash. – The Richland Public Library is set to break ground on “The Lawn,” a new outdoor space that will feature tables, chairs, green areas and a small open-air theater.
Decorative fencing will surround the area, providing an open and welcoming feel while ensuring security, the city announced.
The project was made possible by a $100,000 donation from the Richland Public Library Foundation.
The community is invited to join the celebration at the corner of Swift and Goethals on Friday, May 2, at 11:00 a.m.
