
Richland, Washington – The Richland City Council is moving forward with proposed improvements to Duportail Street.
The project is part of the city’s 2025-2030 Transportation Improvement Program to install roundabouts at Kennedy Road and Vintner Square Driveway, an access-control median between Keene Road and Queensgate Drive and additional lanes with traffic signal enhancements at Queensgate Drive.
In a resolution up for adoption during the city council’s upcoming May 6 meeting, PBS Engineering and Environmental LLC was selected for engineering design services for the Duportail Street Improvements Project.
The agreement is valued at $547,428, with funding coming from the Streets Capital Fund, which currently holds $3,786,300 for the Duportail Corridor projects, according to the report.
