WAPATO, Wash. – Reservation Roots, a group focused on helping the Yakama Nation community with basic necessities, is hosting a community food drive starting Saturday.
Community members can drop off non-perishable and shelf stable foods to help those in need. All donations go to families on the Yakama Reservation.
The International Market at 512 W. 1st St. in Wapato is the drop off location. Goods can be handed off from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Jan. 25 and 26 and Feb. 1 and 2.
