Prosser roadwork on Margaret Street starts Oct. 13, expect local traffic only

PROSSER, Wash.- Starting Oct. 13, roadway construction will begin on Margaret Street from Myrtle Avenue to Bennett Avenue. According to the City of Prosser, construction hours will take from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Work will include grinding existing pavement, grading, storm drainage work on Evans Street, placement of crushed surfacing, hot mix asphalt and pavement markings.

Construction is expected to be completed the week of Nov.3. Temporary traffic control signs will be utilized for the durations of the project. Additionally, Margaret Street will be opened to local traffic only.

The city urges the public to obey all temporary traffic control signs and barricades for safety reasons.
