Extreme winds are blowing through the entire region this morning, causing power outages across multiple counties in the Columbia Basin.
Benton County
Nine Benton PUD customers are without power as of 10 a.m.
Yakima County
4,112 customers are without power, primarily affecting Yakima and Grandview, according to the Pacific Power outage map.
In Yakima, the largest outages are in Union Gap and on Ahtanum Road near Wiley City.
There are also outages in Wapato and Toppenish.
Walla Walla County
183 customers are without power in Walla Walla County in Walla Walla, College Place and near the state line.
Kittitas County
About 5,552 Puget Sound Energy customers in Kittitas County are experiencing outages, with many outages taking place in Cle Elum and throughout Snoqualmie Pass.
Umatilla County
530 customers are affected in Pendleton, Stanfield and rural Umatilla County.
