RICHLAND, Wash. – The city of Richland announced that power should be restored to all customers following outages caused by wind. However, there are still some issues for residents near Liberty Christian School.
The outages began around 6:00 a.m. and affected 80 customers for about eight hours. The city explained that the wind knocked over trees and power lines, leading to the disruption.
Crews were actively working to restore power throughout the day. Currently, Wright Avenue between Pullen and Putnam Street is closed due to ongoing work.
The city continues to monitor the situation to ensure all areas are fully serviced.
