YAKIMA, Wash. – A 16-year-old was shot and killed near North 20th Avenue and Englewood Avenue on Tuesday night.
According to the Yakima Police Department, dispatch received a 911 call reporting shots fired at around 8:49 p.m. Officers responded and found the teen “several blocks away” from North 20th and Englewood suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
The 16-year-old was transferred to the hospital but later died from his injury.
