YAKIMA, Wash. – The Yakima Fire Department(YFD) responded to a play structure on fire at McGuire Park on the greenway at around 5:08 a.m.
When firefighters arrived, they found the play structure “fully involved,” according to YFD on social media.
As of 6:17 a.m., crews remain at the park ensuring the fire is fully out.
YFD asked the public to drive safely while passing the scene on I-82.
