BENTON COUNTY, Wash. – A woman was injured and transported to the hospital after a hit-and-run collision on I-82 Wednesday morning.
According to a press release from Washington State Patrol, the 68-year-old Pendleton woman slowed for traffic. The driver of a nearby car failed to slow and crashed before fleeing the scene.
The crash occurred about 18 miles south of Kennewick on I-82 westbound at around 5:17 a.m.
The person who fled was driving a maroon 2006 Jeep Cherokee.
