Pasco to improve A St/6th Ave with new sidewalks and flashing beacons

PASCO, Wash. – The City of Pasco plans to implement pedestrian improvements to the intersection of A Street and 6th Avenue.

According to the city council’s July 14 agenda report, the council will award a construction bid to Ellison Earthworks for $351,270.09.

The project aims to enhance pedestrian safety at the intersection by adding new sidewalks, curb ramps, pavement markings and rapid flashing beacons.

The resolution allows for the immediate commencement of the project, ensuring that enhancements to the intersection will be underway soon.
