Pasco police looking to identify man found dead on Columbia River bank in 2023

PASCO, Wash. – The Pasco Police Department (PPD) is looking to identify a man that was found dead along the Columbia River in 2023.

According to PPD on social media, the man was found on September 24, 2023 on the river bank near Schlagel Park.

“It is believed he had been in the water for several days before being located,” Pasco police said. “An autopsy was conducted and no obvious signs of trauma were found; however, a cervical fixation implant was noted.”

The man is described as being around 5-foot-7-inches tall, around 150 pounds, with short brown hair and a reddish-gray beard. He did not have any tattoos, and is estimated to have been between 30 and 40 years old.
