
PASCO, Wash. – The Pasco School District has opened applications for its two choice high schools, Orion High School and Delta High School, for the 2026–2027 school year.
Current 8th graders in the district are encouraged to apply by February 13 at 3:00 p.m.
Orion High School, described by Principal Seth Johnson as an innovative career and college academy, offers 160 seats.
The school focuses on hands-on, real-world learning in high-demand fields like health sciences, engineering and advanced manufacturing.
Delta High School, a STEM-focused institution, offers 115 seats to 8th graders from Kennewick, Pasco or Richland.
The small public school emphasizes science, technology, engineering and math through project-based learning. Students collaborate to solve real-world problems, building critical thinking and communication skills.
