Pasco city leaders requesting millions from the state for vital projects

PASCO, Wash. – Pasco city leaders met with members of the Washington State Legislature Tuesday, February 11 to discuss the city’s legislative priorities.

Members of the city council and the interim city manager also discussed the 2025 Transportation Funding Priorities with state senators and representatives.

Here are the city’s funding requests for the state as outlined in the 2025 Legislative Agenda.

MLK COMMUNITY CENTER PHASE 2

The City requests $900,000 to renovate the Southwest building of the MLK Community Center.

ROAD 80 NEIGHBORHOOD PARK

The City of Pasco requests $500,000 to develop the 3-acre neighborhood park.

PASCO PROCESS WATER REUSE FACILITY

As more food processors choose to locate in Pasco, the City requests additional farm circles to irrigate.

ROAD 76 OVERPASS

The City requests $5 million for the design and right-of-way acquisition, and $30 million for construction.

US 12/A STREET TRAFFIC STUDY

The City requests $3 million to complete the analysis.

LEWIS STREET UNDERPASS DEMOLITION

The City requests $3.3 million to complete demolition of the underpass and to honor its agreement with BNSF.

BROADMOOR BLVD/BIKE/PED PATH

The City requests $8 million for construction.
