Outlander‘s final season is quickly approaching, and as fans prepare to bid the Starz hit adieu, there’s no better time than to revisit past seasons.
While all episodes leading up to the looming Season 8 are currently available on Starz, there are eight installments missing from Netflix, where the time-travering fantasy romance series is also a big draw. With Season 8’s arrival on March 6, 2026, nearing, when can fans expect the final eight installments of Outlander‘s super-sized seventh season to land on Netflix? It’s a question that is a little tough to answer without an actual date, but we can make an educated estimate about the year it will likely drop. As fans may recall, Outlander Season 7 originally aired on Starz in the summer of 2023, and Season 7B began airing just over a year later in the fall of 2024.
Meaning, Season 7B is likely to arrive behind Season 7A at around the same pace, with the final eight installments most likely dropping in 2026. This pattern also aligns with Netflix’s release schedule of the show overall, as it takes nearly two years from the time the show originally aired on Starz to arrive on the streamer. Season 6 had begun airing in March 2022, and by May 2024, it had dropped on Netflix.

If Season 7B continues to follow the pattern, March 2026 may be too soon for the episodes to land on Netflix, meaning if you plan to check out Season 8 in real-time, you’re better off to opt into Starz’s service and wrap up your rewatch or Season 7 viewing there in advance of the big farewell. As mentioned above, Outlander is saying goodbye to fans with an eighth and final season in the new year, and the show’s prequel, Outlander: Blood of My Blood, which aired its first season in the summer of 2025, has tided viewers over until then. Blood of My Blood has also been renewed for a second, promising fans something to loo forward to after Outlander wraps up. Outlander tells the story of World War II combat nurse, Claire (Caitriona Balfe), and 18th-century Scottish Highlander warrior, Jamie Fraser (Sam Heughan), who cross paths when she travels through time at the standing stones of Craigh Na Dun.
