
KENNEWICK, Wash. – One man was arrested after threatening his neighbor at the Irving Place Apartments in Kennewick on the morning of April 1.
According to Sergeant Engel with the Kennewick Police Department, officers were dispatched to a disturbance around 7 a.m. and learned that a man had made “significant threats” towards a neighbor.
After the suspect ran back into his apartment and refused to leave, Tri-City Regional SWAT was called in for backup.
Officers surrounded the apartment and attempted to coax the man out. The suspect could be heard yelling from his apartment.
At around 9 a.m., the suspect released his dog to the officers and left the apartment. No forced entry.
According to KPD, the man was booked into the Benton County Jail for Felony Harassment and two unrelated warrants.
