FRANKLIN COUNTY, Wash.–One person died at Kadlec Regional Medical Center after a traffic collision in Pasco.
Erika Rojas Barragan, 23, was driving without a seatbelt on while traveling Westbound on I-82, according to a Washington State Patrol press memo.
Barragan attempted to change lanes near milepost 11 by Argent Rd and Columbia Basin College, where she hit another vehicle, according to the memo. The 20-year-old man in the other vehicle was uninjured.
Both vehicles were totaled, according to the memo. The incident is still under investigation, but drugs and alcohol were not involved.
Barragan’s family have been notified of her death, according to the memo.
