TRI-CITIES — Numerica Credit Union has announced an internal restructuring that will lead to layoffs impacting approximately 25 employees, or 3.5% of its workforce, according to a release.
The move comes as the credit union adapts to the changing economic landscape and member needs.
“We value the contribution of all of our team members and deeply regret the need for these layoffs,” said Carla Cicero, Numerica president and CEO.
Cicero said Numerica showed its commitment to supporting affected employees through this transition with a generous severance package and job placement support, including resume review and interview coaching.
When asked about the number of employees impacted at Tri-Cities branches, Numerica delivered this statement:
We are still in the process of communicating these changes with our team. At this time, we’re unable to share the exact number of positions impacted in the Tri-Cities. All branches will remain open, and services will continue uninterrupted.
