YAKIMA COUNTY, Wash. – People for People announced the groundbreaking of a new Meals on Wheels commercial kitchen, marking a significant step in expanding meal services for seniors throughout Yakima County.
The new facility, spanning 6,000 square feet, aims to enhance the program’s capacity and efficiency by centralizing meal preparation.
People for People stated that the new facility will become the hub for preparing and distributing more than 178,000 meals annually, significantly impacting the senior community in Yakima County.
