Multiple lane closures reported on I-90 across Montana Monday morning

MONTANA – Slick roads are being reported across Montana, bringing hazardous conditions to people driving to visit family and friends for the holidays.

According to the Montana Department of Transportation, there are multiple incidents blocking lanes on I-90 as of 9:00 am Monday morning.

A crash is reported to be blocking the eastbound left on the interstate near Tarkio near mile marker 66.

Eastbound lanes are blocked east of Drummond at mile marker 160. Icy road conditions are also being reported between Drummond and Deer Lodge.

Both east bound and west bound passing lanes just outside of Bozmena are blocked Monday morning as well.

Between Big timer and Columbus, all west lanes are blocked, and travelers are being deterred through exit 400.

Meteorologist Tracy Smith is reporting that most of western Montana and central Montana are under Winter Weather Advisories due to hazardous travel.
