Morning fire in Pasco leaves shop “heavily damaged”

PASCO, Wash. – Pasco Fire Department units were dispatched around 9:20 a.m. on January 21, to a residential structure fire in the 700 block of W Leola St.

Smoke was visible from a shop on the property when Pasco FD arrived. Fire crews confirmed the occupants were outside of the building then began to put out the fire.

The shop was heavily damaged by the fire. There were no injuries reported from the shop owners or firefighters.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation, but Pasco FD says the fire possibly started with a woodstove.
