
YAKIMA VALLEY, Wash. – Yakima Valley Emergency Management has issued a public advisory due to minor flooding along Ahtanum Creek. The advisory warns residents of elevated water levels that could lead to changing conditions.
Residents are urged to avoid low-lying areas near the creek and refrain from driving or walking through standing or moving water. Children and pets should also be kept away from flooded areas.
