SUNNYSIDE, Wash. – A 55-year-old man from the Sunnyside area was found dead in an orchard north of Maple Grove on Monday. The Yakima County Sheriff’s Office said that the man was violently killed while searching for a suspicious person.
Deputies said that the man used an ATV to look for the suspicious person spotted in the orchard. He was found dead shortly after.
The Yakima County Sheriff’s Office couldn’t find the suspicious person. Authorities urged anyone with information about the incident to contact the Yakima County Sheriff’s Office.
