WEST RICHLAND, Wash. – Benton County sheriff’s deputies arrested a man accused of threatening a woman with a gun and holding her against her will.
Investigators in a January 23rd release said the incident happened last weekend when the woman claimed she was not free to leave the home with her children after her boyfriend pointed a firearm at her.
Due to fear for her children’s well-being, she devised a plan to vacate the residence a few days later with her children to get away from her boyfriend, the release said.
The Benton County Sheriff’s Office said deputies eventually located the suspect in the West Richland area and arrested him on assault, unlawful imprisonment and unlawful possession of firearms charges.
