
KENNEWICK, Wash. – Police arrested a man Thursday evening after he allegedly shot at a woman in Kennewick.
At around 9:30 p.m., police were sent to the area of North Tweedt Street and West Hood Avenue for multiple reports of shots fired in the area. No injuries were reported.
Upon arrival, KPD officers quickly developed probable cause for a man who had driven away in a dark-colored SUV. He was found later by Pasco Police in the area of North 19th Avenue and West Court Street and taken into custody without incident.
The man was booked into the Benton County Jail on first degree assault and unlawful firearm possession. The firearm used in the shooting was also seized.
KPD says the incident was isolated and does not impose a risk to the public.
