Man arrested in connection with December teen homicide in Kennewick

KENNEWICK, Wash. – A 45-year-old man was arrested Wednesday morning in connection with the murder of a teen on West 10th Avenue that took place in December 2025, the Kennewick Police Department (KPD) reported.

The arrest is part of an ongoing investigation into the shooting that led to the death of Alex Carcamo-Danley. KPD detectives have been gathering additional evidence and identifying anybody who may have been involved.

Detectives obtained a search warrant for a home in the 700 block of South Beech Street in east Kennewick, and the Tri-City Regional SWAT Team assisted with executing the warrant.

KPD officials reported that detectives seized four firearms, one of which was confirmed stolen, in addition to a large quantity of suspected fentanyl “packaged for distribution.”

The 45-year-old suspect was arrested at the residence. He was booked into the Benton County Jail on charges of unlawful possession of a firearm, possession of a stolen firearm and possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.

KPD officials stated that the investigation remains ongoing.
