KENNEWICK, Wash. – In the late hours of April 21, 2025, a man was caught taking mail from a homeowner’s mailbox on Arrowhead Ave.
The suspect was seen walking north on Bonnie Avenue when deputies arrived, according to a release.
He was already under a 72-hour hold for burglary issued by the Richland Police Department.
He was taken into custody without incident.
At the time of his arrest, the suspect was found with mail belonging to several residents in the 6000 Block of Arrowhead Ave.
The recovered mail was returned to its rightful owners, and charges related to the alleged mail theft were sent to the Prosecutor’s Office.
The suspect was handed over to the custody of the Richland Police Department.
