
KENNEWICK, Wash.–Two men were seen vehicle prowling on bicycles at 2 a.m. Sunday and when officers arrived, one attempted to ride away.
The suspect was assisted off his bicycle, but he fought with the officer, according to the Kennewick Police Department. The suspect was eventually taken into custody, and the other man rode away.
Officers found the suspect taken into custody had a previous warrant for vehicle prowling and is a suspect in another incident where he was seen on camera using a stolen debit card, according to KPD. He also had spark plugs in his pocket and tools when he was arrested.
The man was booked into jail on the vehicle prowling warrant, Obstructing a Public Servant and Possession of a Controlled Substance, according to KPD. He will be receiving a felony charge for fraud as well.
Officers are still attempting to locate the other man, who was most likely vehicle prowling with the first man in the 6600 block of W 15th Ave., according to KPD. Anyone with information or videos of the two men can reach the non emergency number at 509-628-0333.
