KENNEWICK, Wash. – The parks and recreation community is gearing up for the 78th Annual WRPA Conference and Trade Show, happening May 13-16, in Kennewick.

The conference promises to be an enriching experience for all visitors, focusing on community building and professional development in parks and recreation.

Over 550 professionals, sponsors and exhibitors from across the state will have access to an interactive exhibit hall, educational sessions, meals, networking events, and local facility tours.

While some events like the Walla Walla Public Spaces and Wine Tour are sold out, others like the G.A. Pehrson Urban Greenbelt Trail Walking Tour and the “Bike with a Ranger! Exploring the ‘Secret City’ History of Richland” are free and still available.

Unfortunately, the Pickleball Tournament has been canceled, and registered participants will receive an email with refund details.

For those interested in history, the post-conference Richland’s Wartime Houses Tour on May 16 is available for $50.
