KENNEWICK, Wash. – Students from the Kennewick School District (KSD) showcased their talents at the Destination Imagination State Tournament in Kennewick on March 22, earning spots in the Global Finals.
Out of 13 teams from the district, four will represent Kennewick at the Destination Imagination Global Finals in Kansas City, Missouri, on May 22.
The teams heading to the finals are The Sussy Pickles from Vista Elementary, ExtraorDInary Sushi Boba Team from Vista Elementary, The Lobos are Back from Fuerza Elementary, and The PAWpular Princess from Horse Heaven Hills and Chinook Middle School, according to KSD’s announcement.
The students competed in various STEAM challenges, demonstrating creativity and problem-solving skills. KSD said the achievement highlights the dedication and hard work of these young minds.
