Kennewick seeks residents for city boards; applications due February 18, 2025

KENNEWICK, Wash. – The City of Kennewick is calling on residents and business owners to apply for positions on its various boards and commissions.

This opportunity allows community members to influence city policies and contribute to Kennewick’s development.

“We rely on the voices and expertise of our residents to help steer important city initiatives,” Krystal Johnston, City Clerk said.

Openings are available on the Arts Commission, Block Grant Advisory Committee, Civil Service Commission, Planning Commission, Historic Preservation Commission, Kennewick Housing Authority, and Public Facilities District.

Applicants must typically reside or own a business in Kennewick, though some positions are open to those with relevant expertise living outside city limits.

Applications are due by February 18, 2025, with interviews set for the week of March 3, 2025. New members will begin their terms on April 1, 2025.
