KENNEWICK, Wash. – Kennewick Police arrested a 49-year-old man following an alleged robbery outside of a bank on Tuesday.
KPD says officers were sent to the Bank of America on West Kennewick Avenue for a report of a man who allegedly punched a woman in the face after she withdrew money from an ATM then stole her purse and ran away.
Officers and SWAT members from several local law enforcement departments contained the area and narrowed down the search to the backyard of a nearby home.
Police arrested the man and booked him into the Benton County Jail on robbery charges.
