
KENNEWICK, Wash. – A second suspect has been arrested in connection with the murder of a 16-year-old who was shot and killed on December 3, 2025, in the 1100 block of W. 10th Avenue.
The Kennewick Police Department reported that detectives have continued to investigate the case. They initially arrested the first suspect in Union Gap on December 9, 2025.
Detectives, working with the Benton County Prosecutor’s Office, developed probable cause to arrest a second suspect, a 14-year-old male. A warrant was issued for his arrest.
On February 12, 2026, the Criminal Apprehension Team detectives, with help from the Richland Police Department Street Crimes Unit, located the suspect in the 3000 block of Queensgate Drive. He was taken into custody.
The suspect was booked into the Benton Franklin Juvenile Detention Center for murder in the first degree.
