KENNEWICK, Wash. – A man accused of assaulting a paramedic with the Kennewick Fire Department (KFD) faces numerous charges.
Officers were called to a disturbance report at Trios Southridge Hospital where they said the 46-year-old suspect was being restrained by hospital staff and fire department personnel prior to the alleged attack on the paramedic.
Due to his erratic behavior, officers arrested him and used a WRAP restraint to keep the suspect from harming himself and/or others, police said.
The suspect was booked into jail on third degree assault charges, interfering with a healthcare facility, resisting arrest, and obstructing a law enforcement officer.
