
KENNEWICK, Wash. – A Kennewick man was arrested following a lengthy investigation by the Southeast Regional Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (SER-ICAC).
The investigation began after SER-ICAC received a Cybertip from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children. The tip indicated the suspect was downloading files containing apparent child pornography.
Detectives obtained multiple search warrants to confirm the suspect’s identity. With the help of the Richland Police Department, Kennewick Police Department, and the Benton County Sheriff’s Office, the man was arrested without incident.
Electronic Storage Device K9 Blaze assisted in the investigation, leading to the seizure of multiple electronic devices from the suspect’s residence on West Gage Boulevard.
The man has been booked into Benton County Jail on multiple counts of Possession of Depictions of Minor Engaged in Sexually Explicit Conduct in the First Degree.
