KENNEWICK, Wash. – Kennewick Firefighters quickly responded to a brush fire near E 10th Ave and E Chemical Dr. on Tuesday.
Their action time prevented the fire from spreading further, which was crucial given the Red Flag Warning in effect, according to Kennewick Firefighters.
A couple of hours later, crews responded to a possible structure fire on W Clearwater Ave for a possible structure fire, according to Kennewick Firefighters. Upon arrival, firefighters observed light smoke and upgraded the situation to a Commercial Structure Fire before putting out the flames and ensuring minimal fire spread.
