KENNEWICK, Wash. — The Kennewick City Council is set to hold a special meeting on February 10 at the Toyota Center.

The meeting, starting at 3:30 p.m., will include a tour of the ongoing expansion project at the Three Rivers Convention Center. Participants on the tour must wear hard hats and proper footwear, with loaner hard hats available.

Following the tour, the meeting will continue at the Toyota Center. The council will discuss updates on the Convention Center and the Kennewick Public Facilities District, as well as an interlocal agreement concerning Parking Lot E at the Three Rivers Convention Center.

The expansion project, scheduled for completion in fall 2026, aims to add a 60,000-square-foot exhibit hall, additional meeting space and a new kitchen. It is designed to host larger conventions, trade shows and sports events.
