
PASCO, Wash.–Two suspects in a Hyundai Elantra were reported to be involved fighting near the Burden Blvd. Wingstop on Monday, and when officers arrived, they found the two had been driving erratically in the area.
Fighting stopped when officers showed up, and witnesses said the two men in the Elantra were the main problem, according to the Pasco Police Department. The car was contained, but the suspects did not follow commands and were detained for further investigation.
Witnesses at the scene said the suspects, one wearing watches that officers found suspicious, threatened to kill others, according to PPD. Officers declared probable cause for felony threats.
Kennewick police declared probable cause to arrest the same suspects for a residential burglary the same day, and when Pasco officers saw the pending burglary call, they contacted the victim, according to PPD.
The victim said television sets were broken, and watches, a PS5 set, backpacks and jewelry had been stolen from the home, according to PPD. The description of the stolen watches matched the watches one suspect had been wearing, and when officers looked inside the Elantra, they saw backpacks and a PS5 box.
After further investigation, probable cause was declared for multiple felonies, according to PPD. The two suspects were transported to the Franklin County Corrections Center for residential burglary, malicious mischief in the 2nd degree and harassment threats to kill.
