RICHLAND, Wash. – Kadlec in Richland is offering a 6 ½ hour course to equip local youth with essential emergency skills.
The course called Prepared Teen aims to empower teens to act during emergencies, support their emotional health and enhance personal safety confidence, Kadlec said in a release.
Participants will learn Hands Only CPR, AED usage, Basic First Aid, Emotional First Aid and personal safety skills. The program is designed for ages 11 to 17.
