RICHLAND, Wash. – The Kadlec Foundation has allocated $797,588 from donors for programs, equipment, and services at Kadlec Regional Medical Center and Kadlec Clinic in 2025.

These funds aim to enhance healthcare access and quality for all, regardless of financial capability.

The approved funding will support several initiatives, including new infant care equipment, specialized pediatric scopes, ultrasound machines for pregnant patients and brain swelling monitors in the ICU.

Additionally, funds will aid community members facing socioeconomic challenges through the Good Samaritan fund and provide resources for older adults via the Healthy Ages program.

Lacey Perry, chief philanthropy officer for the Kadlec Foundation, emphasized the importance of donor contributions, stating, “Donors to the Kadlec Foundation make a powerful impact on improving access to high-quality care when and where it’s needed most.”

The foundation is also expanding its Experience Healthcare camp to encourage high school students to explore healthcare careers and offering scholarships to local students at WSU Tri-Cities and CBC pursuing healthcare degrees.

A fundraising breakfast is set for Thu., March 27 at 7:30 a.m. at the HAPO Center in Pasco. The event is free, but registration is required. For more details or to register, visit the Kadlec website.
