Incoming snow causing crashes, traffic delays throughout Tri-Cities, NE Oregon

TRI-CITIES, Wash., NE OREGON, Ore. – UPDATE 3:45:

All lanes of I-84 between La Grande and Ontario are now open following closure due to hazardous snow conditions.

OR 78 between Burns and Burns Junction is back open.

According to Benton County Fire District 1, crews are responding to a collision involving 18 vehicles and at least one semi on I-82 near the Beck Road overpass, south of Kennewick.

Two people have been transported as crews on scene continue to assess injuries.

BCFD#1 advises drivers to avoid the area.

According to WSDOT’s Real-Time Travel Map, traffic is delayed on SR-240 in Kennewick, George Washington Way in Richland, I-182 from Pasco to Richland, US-395 from Pasco to Kennewick, and I-82 from Oregon to Kennewick.
