KENNEWICK, Wash. – Officers in Kennewick responded to a reported fight at The Pub on West Clearwater Avenue on Friday, which led to a hit-and-run and a DUI arrest.
As officers arrived at the scene around 11:17 p.m., a dark Subaru hatchback sped away. Shortly after, the vehicle was found crashed into a city sign at a roundabout on West Fourth Avenue and Kellogg Street.
The car was empty, with multiple airbags deployed and the passenger door open.
Witnesses reported seeing a man and a woman fleeing the vehicle. Officers used a drone to search the area and found two people hopping fences near South Jefferson Street.
Both were arrested and taken to Benton County Jail.
