HELENA, Mont. — The Montana Heritage Center is gearing up to host its largest regional History Day contest in recent years. This exciting event is organized by the Montana Historical Society.
On February 14, more than 170 students from western and central Montana are set to compete at the Montana Heritage Center.
Students from grades six through twelve will showcase their skills in five categories: documentary films, exhibit boards, research papers, performances and websites.
The top two contestants in each category will advance to the state contest at Montana State University in Bozeman.
While in Helena, participating students will also have the chance to tour the newly opened Heritage Center and the State Capitol Building.
