BENTON CITY, Wash.- Frichette Winery is hosting an evening of wine, art and heart health awareness during American Heart Health month. February 22, Wine & Art Saves Hearts will feature guest speakers sharing insight on heart health. A portion of wine and art sales will benefit the American Heart Association, funding research and education.
Shae Frichette, owner of Frichette Winery is one of the American Heart Association’s 2025 Woman of Impact. Frichette said her campaign started February 7, on National Wear Red Day and now she is working over the next several weeks to raise funds for Go Red for Women.
Heart disease is the number one killer of women in America, according to the American Heart Association. That’s what inspired Frichette to spend the last 15 years volunteering.
“Heart disease runs in my family,” said Frichette. “I just started digging a little bit deeper into my own family and seeing how close heart disease was to me,”
With this passion in mind, Frichette started hosting “Wine & Art Saves Hearts” turning her winery into an art gallery once a year to help fundraise.
“I invite local artists to come in, they showcase their artwork and these artists donate part of the proceeds to the American Heart Association,” said Frichette.
