Free PFAS testing for livestock products in East Selah

EAST SELAH, Wash. — The Washington State Department of Health is offering free testing for PFAS in home-raised eggs and meat for East Selah residents.

To qualify, residents must have PFAS chemicals in their water exceeding specified levels and use this water for raising animals or eggs at home for personal consumption.

The department will collect eggs and meat from participants and provide full test results along with a health consultation.

Residents interested in participating must sign up by February 27, 2026.
