RICHLAND, Wash. – Ben Franklin Transit (BFT), the pubic transportation system serving the Tri Cities, is offering free rides on November 4 to all riders on their way to vote.
“Whether you’re headed to your local voting center or dropping off your ballot, we’re here to make sure transportation isn’t a barrier to having your voice heard,” BFT wrote on its website.
No proof of voting or registration is required to take advantage of the free buses.
This is the second time BFT has offered a free ride initiative to voters in the community.
