FRANKLIN COUNTY, Wash. – Franklin County sheriff’s investigators are deciding whether to charge a driver accused of causing a head-on crash, northeast of Tri-Cities Airport.

Deputies on scene said the driver of a work truck failed to yield in the 600 block of Foster Wells Road and struck another truck in the westbound lanes.

The driver of the truck that was hit by the work truck was transported to Kadlec Medical Center with minor injuries to his legs, deputies said.

The driver of the work truck was not injured.

Deputies don’t suspect alcohol or drugs. They said a lack of visibility due to a frozen windshield may have played a role in the crash.
