
STATESVILLE, N.C. – A former NASCAR driver from Vancouver, Washington and members of his family were among those killed in a plane crash at a North Carolina airport on Thursday.
The FAA said the small plane crashed during landing at Statesville Regional Airport with six people on board.
Representative Richard Hudson (R-NC) confirmed in a social media post that among the fatalities were NASCAR driver Greg Biffle, his wife Cristina “and their children.”
