
MONTANA — Former Montana head coach Bobby Hauck has landed a new role as a defensive coordinator at Illinois, according to a recent report.
Hauck will join Bret Bielema’s staff and take charge of the defense, marking the first time in his career that he will oversee an entire defense.
Hauck began his coaching career on the defensive side, focusing on linebackers and defensive backs before becoming the head coach at Montana.
