BOZEMAN, MT- In the front row at Bobcat games, a kid dressed as a taco has been delivering the vim for the last 2 years.
Melissa Plovanic Hallahan is the mom of that taco, his name is Jax. Jax has been attending games since he was born.
“My dad was a season ticket holder for 45-years,” Plovanic Hallahan said, “so that’s how we have amazing seats in the front row.”
Plovanic Hallahan jokes that her dad told her, his money only spends at MSU.
“He brought me every game with my mom, brother and sister,” Jax said, “and we just came for the fun of it, it didn’t matter what the weather was.”
The “he,” Jax is referring to is his grandfather, and the games in Bozeman became a chance for the whole family to get together.
Jax’s family would drive down from Great Falls – for a Bobcat party.
“Great Falls is nice, we go to football Friday for high school and then go straight to Bozeman,” Jax said.
College Gameday was Melissas fathers last game.
“We lost him shortly after that,” Plovanic Hallahan said.
Jax, like his grandfather, bleeds blue and gold – and has spent the last two years dressing up like a taco.
“I feel closets to my grandpa here, [Bobcat Stadium],” Jax said, My brother became a big fan of Taco and I just kind of became a big fan of Taco.”
Yes—dressed to the nines in a taco suit he got at Target.
“Its awesome to stand next to all three of my kids and watch them get that Bobcat spirt I always had, [like] my dad had,” Plovanic Hallahan said.
