RICHLAND, Wash. – With the WIAA State Fastpitch Softball Playoffs underway, drivers in the area of Columbia Playfields in Richland are expected to see significant traffic congestion due to ongoing road construction near the entrance on Stevens Drive.
Drivers are advised to avoid construction by using George Washington Way and Swift Boulevard for easier access.
Parking near Columbia Playfields will be limited. Overflow parking is available at Fran Rish Stadium and Richland High School.
The softball playoffs are expected to wrap up Saturday night.
